A Q&A parenting column addresses the benefits of breastfeeding. The author, Debbie Glasser, Ph.D., is director of Family Support Services at the Family Center of Nova Southeastern University and is chairwoman of the National Parenting Education Network. The article is a solid review of the benefits of breastfeeding but could benefit from language that warns of the harm from not breastfeeding.
