"There's no law against breastfeeding in public... but many nursing mothers say they're treated like there was. A bill before the state senate would clearly indicate that breastfeeding in public is not indecent exposure or a nuisance. The bill comes as a relief to women who say they've felt ostracized at restaurants or other places. Jasmine Mielke/Mother of Two: 'I am sorry if some people find breastfeeding offensive or inappropriate in public. But it is my experience that breastfeeding mothers make every effort to be discreet.
